The study of those socially constructed institutions,
beliefs, and conditions that result in differential outcomes
within various populations in countries around the world.
The course employs appropriate sociological theories and
methodologies as it addresses not only the cause of social
problems, but also their interrelationship with other
problems as well as possible solutions.
